Community, Reviews & Online Safety Policy
The rules for reviews, messages, listings, reports and other user content, including how Swipped responds and how decisions can be challenged.
Effective 13 August 2026
Swipped, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX
1. Where this policy applies
This policy applies to reviews, ratings, replies, messages, profile information, listings, photographs, documents, shared location links, mini-app outputs and any other content submitted, sent or displayed through Swipped. It applies to customers, businesses, providers, drivers, affiliates and staff users.
2. Illegal and dangerous content
- No content that facilitates terrorism, child sexual exploitation or abuse, grooming, trafficking, fraud, illegal drugs, weapons offences or other serious crime.
- No credible threats, incitement to violence, targeted harassment, hate content, stalking, coercive control, non-consensual intimate content, doxxing or instructions intended to cause physical or serious financial harm.
- No sale or promotion of prohibited, counterfeit, unsafe, recalled or unlawfully age-restricted goods or services.
- No malware, credential theft, phishing, payment diversion, impersonation, forged documents or attempts to defeat Platform safety controls.
3. Reviews and endorsements
- Review only a genuine, relevant experience and describe opinion as opinion; do not invent, copy, coordinate or buy reviews.
- Do not review your own business, a competitor to manipulate its rating, or a transaction in which you have an undisclosed personal or commercial conflict.
- Any permitted free item, discount, affiliate link or other incentive must be clear, cannot depend on a positive review and cannot be used to suppress criticism.
- Businesses must not review-gate, threaten, reward removal of genuine criticism, selectively publish favourable reviews or prevent users reporting suspected manipulation.
4. Privacy, dignity and intellectual property
Do not publish another person's home address, identity documents, financial details, health data, private communications, precise live location or images without a lawful reason and appropriate permission. Do not upload material you do not own or have the right to use. Reports should include only evidence relevant to the issue.
5. Reporting and urgent help
Use the report control attached to content or contact support with the URL or record identifier, the concern and available evidence. Reports may be made by an affected user, witness, trusted flagger or authority. Swipped acknowledges and prioritises reports according to apparent illegality, immediacy, severity, reach and risk to vulnerable people.
Swipped is not an emergency service. Contact police, ambulance, fire, safeguarding or another competent emergency channel first where there is immediate danger. Do not confront a suspected offender or preserve illegal content by redistributing it.
6. Review and enforcement
Swipped may use automated signals to prioritise a case, but material decisions are reviewed by an authorised person where required. Depending on context and law, action may include no action, reduced visibility, a warning, removal, transaction restriction, account suspension, preservation of evidence, repayment reversal or referral to a payment provider, regulator or law-enforcement body.
We consider the content itself, context, apparent intent, severity, recurrence, reliability of evidence, user history and impact on other rights. We do not promise to pre-screen every item or guarantee that all harmful content will be identified immediately.
7. Notice, reasons and appeals
Where lawful and appropriate, a person whose content or account is materially restricted receives the decision, the rule relied on and how to appeal. A reporter may receive the outcome without another person's confidential information. Appeals should identify the decision and explain any mistake or relevant context; a person not responsible for the original decision should review material appeals where practicable.
8. Evidence, authorities and privacy
We may preserve account, content, transaction, device and moderation evidence where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal claims or a lawful authority request. Access is restricted and retention follows the Privacy Policy. We disclose to an authority only after checking the request or another lawful basis, except where urgent disclosure is permitted to protect life or prevent serious harm.
9. Complaints about Swipped's handling
Contact info@launch-center.online with the case reference. Privacy concerns may be sent to privacy@swipped.co.uk. We record complaints and material moderation decisions, monitor repeat abuse and review whether product or policy changes are needed. Do not retaliate against a reporter, witness or appellant, and do not knowingly submit a false or abusive report. Available regulator, court and mandatory consumer routes are not excluded.
