Platform agreement
Terms of Service
Core platform rules and service schedules, including commerce, social discovery, Meet, LIVE, gifts, sponsorship, profile links and enabled mini-apps.
Updated 22 October 2026
Swipped, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX
1. Who we are and how these terms work
Swipped operates the Swipped website, mobile applications and connected products (the “Platform”). References to “Swipped”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the Platform operator identified in our Legal Notice.
You must read these core terms together with the service schedule that applies to what you buy, sell, book, provide or promote. Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
2. Eligibility, accounts and authority
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You must give accurate, current information, protect your credentials and promptly report unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our breach.
If you act for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. Business users must keep licences, registrations, insurance, tax details and verification documents accurate and current. Accounts and access rights may not be sold, transferred or shared without our written approval.
An 18+ label or another member’s age statement is not proof of age or identity. We may request proportionate age or identity checks and restrict access where necessary for safety or law. Do not evade a check, give an under-18 person access to your account, or misrepresent your age. A country selector or successful account registration does not authorise an otherwise unavailable or regulated service.
3. Swipped's role
Swipped provides technology that helps users discover, communicate, contract, book, order and pay. Unless a checkout or listing expressly identifies Swipped as the seller or service provider, the third-party business, driver or provider is responsible for the goods or underlying service and contracts directly with the customer.
We may facilitate payments, verification, messaging, support and dispute handling, but we do not control every act of an independent user. Any badge, rating or verification is limited to the checks described on the Platform and is not a guarantee of identity, quality, safety, legality or suitability.
4. Prices, fees, payment and taxes
The total price, mandatory charges, taxes and material conditions will be shown before confirmation where required. Optional extras must be actively selected and will not be added through a pre-ticked box or assumed consent. After a transaction, the customer receives an acknowledgement or receipt in the Platform, by email or another durable form where required. You authorise Swipped and its payment providers to charge the selected payment method and to correct obvious processing errors. Payment card details are handled by payment providers; Swipped generally receives tokens and limited card information rather than full card numbers.
Businesses and providers are responsible for their own taxes, invoices and statutory records unless the Platform expressly states otherwise. We may withhold, reverse or delay payouts where reasonably necessary for refunds, chargebacks, suspected fraud, sanctions screening, negative balances, legal compliance or a genuine dispute.
Account suspension, closure or deletion does not extinguish a valid amount already owed. Swipped remains responsible for any earning, commission or refund that has become finally payable under these terms, and the user remains responsible for valid fees, reversals, chargebacks, negative balances, refunds or other debts. We may keep the minimum identity, payout and transaction records needed to calculate, pay, recover, dispute or evidence those sums, then delete or anonymise them under the Privacy Policy.
5. Cancellations, refunds and cooling-off rights
Visiting services are free to cancel until verified travel begins, with a two-minute grace period. The disclosed charge is up to £5 while travelling or £10 after arrival, limited to justified loss. Courier equivalents are £3 and £5; rides are capped at £5. These amounts replace one another and do not stack. Work already supplied is assessed separately.
If you cancel a retail or supermarket order after the driver has collected it, a 50% cancellation charge applies automatically to the applicable payment excluding unused tips. No manual loss review is required. Before collection, this 50% charge does not apply. Collected retail and supermarket goods must return to the original shop, which confirms receipt before driver return compensation is transferred. Restaurants require no return; after prepared food is collected, the applicable payment may be retained for customer change of mind, subject to justified loss and mandatory remedies. Provider, merchant and platform failures do not create a customer cancellation charge.
A second chargeable customer cancellation triggers an account warning. A third restricts new bookings and orders pending support review. Lawful free cancellations and substantiated provider or platform failures do not count. Access to support and existing bookings remains available. Confirmed provider no-shows incur a £4.99 deduction from earnings; two consecutive confirmed no-shows suspend the provider account. Both parties may dispute evidence and ask support to review a decision.
The applicable service schedule and the information shown before purchase explain cancellation windows, fees and refund eligibility. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer remedies for goods, digital content or services that are faulty, misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, you may exercise it within the legal period. If you expressly request performance during that period, you may have to pay for the proportion already supplied; the right may be lost after full performance where the law permits and you gave the required acknowledgement. Some dated leisure, transport, catering and accommodation services may be exempt.
6. Safety and prohibited conduct
You must not use the Platform unlawfully, fraudulently or dangerously; harass or discriminate; impersonate others; submit false documents or reviews; manipulate prices, ratings, referrals or promotions; evade Platform fees; make off-platform payment demands arising from a Platform lead; introduce malware; scrape or reverse engineer the Platform; access another account; interfere with security; or use the Platform to sell prohibited, counterfeit, unsafe or recalled items.
Do not use Swipped for emergencies. Call the appropriate emergency service where life, safety, serious crime or urgent medical help is involved. Users must follow safeguarding, food safety, licensing, road traffic, product safety and workplace safety rules relevant to their activity.
7. Content, messages, reviews and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Swipped a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt, display and distribute it only as needed to operate, secure, promote and improve the Platform. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it.
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Incentives cannot depend on a positive rating and any permitted incentive or commercial relationship must be clearly disclosed. Businesses must not review themselves, buy reviews, pressure users, selectively invite only likely-positive reviewers, suppress genuine negative reviews or obstruct reports. The Community, Reviews & Online Safety Policy explains reporting, moderation, notices and appeals and forms part of these terms.
We may investigate, restrict or remove content that is unlawful, unsafe, fraudulent, misleading, irrelevant, infringing or contrary to these terms, while taking account of context, user rights and applicable law. Swipped branding, software, designs and Platform content remain ours or our licensors' property; no rights are granted except the limited right to use the Platform under these terms.
8. Suspension, investigation and termination
We may investigate, restrict, suspend or close accounts, listings, bookings, funds or access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate fraud or safety concerns, respond to chargebacks, enforce these terms or protect the Platform. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and provide a route to appeal.
You may stop using Swipped and initiate account deletion inside the website or app. A request is recorded immediately, but final deletion may remain pending while active transactions are completed; refunds, earned payouts or commissions are paid or decided; negative balances, reversals or chargebacks are resolved; and payment providers confirm that balances and in-flight payouts are settled. Requesting deletion does not forfeit a valid sum owed to you and does not cancel a valid sum you owe. We will explain any blocking item and provide support where it cannot be resolved in-product.
Once settlement checks pass, we close the active identity, remove eligible profile and payment links, de-list owned businesses and erase or anonymise eligible content. Terms that by nature should continue—including payment, tax, evidence, intellectual property, indemnity, liability and dispute provisions—survive closure. Minimum records may remain where lawfully required, subject to access limits and the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.
9. Availability, changes and third-party services
We aim to provide a reliable Platform but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may maintain, improve, replace or withdraw features. Material adverse changes will be notified where reasonably practicable and where law requires.
Maps, payments, identity tools, communications, app stores and linked sites may be supplied by third parties under their own terms. We are responsible for choosing and managing our processors as data protection law requires, but are not responsible for independent third-party services outside our control.
10. Our responsibility to consumers
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. We remain responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses caused by an independent seller or provider, your breach, inaccurate information you supplied, events outside our reasonable control, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. We do not exclude statutory rights or remedies against the trader responsible for the goods or service.
11. Business-user responsibility, indemnity and liability cap
Business users must compensate Swipped for third-party claims, regulatory costs and direct losses caused by their unlawful listings, goods, services, content, tax failures, employment arrangements, IP infringement or material breach, except to the extent caused by Swipped. This obligation is subject to applicable law and a duty to mitigate.
For business users only, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings. Subject to liabilities that cannot be limited, Swipped's aggregate liability arising in any 12-month period is capped at the greater of £100 and the Platform fees paid or payable by that business user in that period. This cap does not reduce amounts Swipped must pass through to a user or refund under an express payment obligation.
12. Records, notices, compliance and changes
Platform records, confirmations, messages, timestamps and payment records may be used as evidence of a transaction, subject to correction of demonstrated error and applicable law. Notices may be delivered to the verified email address, telephone number, in-app inbox or business contact saved on the account. Users must keep those details current and save transaction records they need. Electronic acceptance has the same effect as a signed acceptance where law permits.
We may update these terms for law, safety, security, service or commercial changes. The effective date and current version will be published, and material adverse changes will be notified before they take effect where law requires. Changes do not retrospectively remove an accrued right or payment. If a change requires fresh consent, the affected feature will not continue on the new basis until that consent is obtained.
Business users must maintain insurance appropriate to their services, keep evidence and statutory records, cooperate with lawful audits and investigations, and comply with anti-bribery, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, export-control and modern-slavery rules that apply to them. They must not use Swipped to conceal ownership, destination, source of funds or a prohibited transaction.
13. Complaints, disputes and governing law
Contact legal@swipped.co.uk first so we can investigate. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain every mandatory protection and forum right available under the law of the country where they live; this governing-law clause does not remove those rights. Business disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If one provision is invalid, the remainder continues. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement without consent; we may transfer it as part of a genuine restructuring or sale provided your rights are not reduced.
Schedule A — Shops, supermarkets and marketplace orders
RetailThe named seller is responsible for product descriptions, pricing, stock, legal labelling, product safety, conformity, traceability, quality, recalls, substitutions, age restrictions and statutory remedies. Businesses must provide the trader identity and contact information Swipped requests, cooperate with safety notices and recalls, and must not list prohibited, counterfeit, recalled or unlawfully marketed goods. Customers must check products on receipt and follow storage, use and safety instructions.
Order acceptance occurs when the seller confirms the order, not when it is placed. Substitutions require the customer's agreement where materially different. Delivery estimates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. Title and risk pass as the law and seller terms require; Swipped may facilitate, but the seller remains responsible for consumer obligations unless checkout says Swipped is the seller.
The listing and checkout must identify whether the seller is a trader or a private individual and who supplies delivery. A private sale does not carry all the statutory rights of a consumer purchase from a trader, but a seller must still own or be authorised to sell the item, describe it honestly and comply with applicable law. A trader must not present itself as a private seller to avoid consumer duties. Do not assume Swipped provides escrow, buyer insurance or a guarantee unless the transaction expressly includes it.
For distance sales by a trader, applicable statutory cancellation and return rights and mandatory remedies remain available even where an item was discounted. Exceptions, such as qualifying perishable or personalised goods, apply only where the law permits. A support report, the ordinary in-app cancellation calculation and a statutory return or remedy are distinct routes; the core cancellation policy does not remove a statutory entitlement.
Schedule B — Restaurants, takeaway and delivery
FoodRestaurants are responsible for menu accuracy, ingredients, allergens, hygiene, licensing, preparation, packaging and food quality. For distance sales, the restaurant must make legally required written allergen information available before the order is completed and again when the food is delivered. Swipped allergy filters and customer notes are supplementary only; restaurants must maintain an effective route for allergen questions and prevent unsupported safety claims.
Because food is perishable and prepared to order, cancellation rights may be limited after preparation begins. Missing, unsafe, contaminated or materially incorrect orders should be reported promptly with available evidence. Drivers must transport orders safely and follow delivery instructions that are lawful and practicable.
Food preferences, filters and any available customer notes are not an allergen-safety guarantee. Check the restaurant’s current written allergen information and contact it before ordering if anything is unclear; do not assume that an ingredient can be removed or cross-contamination avoided. A missing optional instruction field does not reduce the restaurant’s duty to supply required allergen information.
Schedule C — Reservations and appointments
BookingsThe listed venue or professional provides the booked experience and sets availability, eligibility, attendance, deposit, late-arrival, cancellation and no-show rules shown before confirmation. A request is not confirmed until the Platform displays confirmation.
Customers must provide accurate party and contact details and disclose relevant access needs. Venues must honour confirmed bookings or provide the remedy required by law and their stated policy. Deposits may be retained only where the disclosed policy and applicable law allow.
Category descriptions are a guide to the type of experience; the selected venue, service, date, time, party size, quoted price and displayed booking conditions define the request. Availability or a submitted request alone is not an acceptance. A deposit, late-cancellation or no-show charge must be disclosed before commitment and applies only subject to the agreed conditions, evidence and mandatory rights.
Schedule D — Local services, jobs and providers
ServicesCustomers and providers contract for the scoped work shown in the booking. Providers are independent businesses, responsible for competence, licences, insurance, tools, workers, taxes, safety and performing with reasonable care and skill. Customers must provide lawful access, accurate scope information and a reasonably safe working environment.
Changes to scope or price must be agreed before extra work. Users should keep material communications and payments on-platform. Swipped may help mediate a dispute but does not become the employer, worker, agent or principal of either party merely by operating the Platform.
Choosing a named provider or tapping Book now requests the selected service; it does not guarantee immediate availability, acceptance, attendance or a fixed price unless the confirmation expressly says so. A provider may offer only services for which its approval and required evidence remain current. Where the flow asks you to approve approaching other providers or a changed scope or price, that approval is required before the change takes effect. An approval badge for one service does not approve the account for every service.
Schedule E — Rides, drivers and transport
RidesA ride is supplied by the identified licensed transport operator or driver, as shown before the booking is confirmed. Swipped must not activate live ride-booking in a licensing area until the legally responsible operator, booking model and required operator permissions have been verified. Drivers must hold all licences, insurance, vehicle approvals and permissions required for the journey and must comply with road, private-hire, equality and safeguarding duties. Nothing on Swipped authorises unlicensed transport activity, and these terms do not replace an operator licence.
Fares may include base, distance, time, waiting, toll, cancellation and cleaning components shown or explained before booking. Estimates may change for an agreed route change, waiting or legally permitted adjustments. Riders must behave safely, wear restraints, supervise children, use suitable child seats where required, and not request unlawful driving. Emergency transport and carriage of dangerous or prohibited items are not permitted.
Schedule F — Sellers, restaurants and other business partners
BusinessesBusinesses must accurately identify the contracting trader, display required contact and pricing information, fulfil orders, operate complaint and recall procedures, and comply with consumer, product, food, advertising, employment, licensing, tax and data protection law. They must not list goods or services they cannot lawfully supply.
Businesses authorise Swipped to display listings, receive customer instructions, facilitate payments and deduct agreed commissions, refunds, chargebacks and other disclosed amounts. They remain responsible for staff access, catalogue accuracy and activity performed through their business account.
Where digital-platform reporting rules apply, a business or provider must supply accurate legal name, address, date of birth or registration details, tax identification number, financial account information and other due-diligence evidence. Swipped may verify and report the seller's identity, consideration received and fees or commissions to HMRC or another competent tax authority, and provide the seller with a copy of reportable information as required. Account closure does not erase a reporting duty already triggered.
Schedule G — Affiliates and referrals
AffiliatesAffiliates are independent contractors, not employees, agents or representatives authorised to bind Swipped. They must use approved, accurate marketing, disclose the commercial relationship where required, obtain lawful marketing consent and never make earnings, product or approval claims we have not authorised.
Commission is earned only on eligible, genuine, completed transactions under the displayed programme rules and may be reversed for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, self-referral, duplicate attribution or policy breach. A valid finally payable commission is not forfeited merely because the affiliate asks to close their account; payout and attribution records may be retained until settlement and for the documented finance-retention period. Affiliates are responsible for taxes and may not bid on protected brand terms, spam, impersonate Swipped or misuse customer data.
Schedule H — Payments, wallets, payouts and promotions
MoneyPayment services may be supplied by Stripe or another identified regulated provider. Swipped is not a bank and Platform balances are not bank deposits unless an authorised provider expressly says otherwise. Identity, sanctions and fraud checks may be required before payment or payout.
Promotions have the eligibility, expiry and usage limits shown with the offer; no cash alternative is available unless required by law. Chargeback abuse, payment laundering, split transactions intended to evade controls and use of stolen instruments are prohibited. Currency conversion and third-party bank charges may apply where disclosed.
Before final account deletion, Swipped may pause new activity and verify its own ledger and the payment provider's available, pending and negative balances, refunds, reversals, disputes and in-flight payouts. Payout instructions are retained only as long as needed to settle valid sums and satisfy legal obligations, then removed or disconnected where Swipped has authority. If a connected account is independently controlled, its holder may need to complete a provider-controlled disconnection step; Swipped will not describe that independent provider account as deleted when it is not.
Where the displayed retail or supermarket welcome programme uses a voucher cycle, the sequence is 50%, 35%, 20%, 10%, then 50% again. The next stage unlocks only after the preceding qualifying voucher is successfully redeemed under that programme. Locked future-voucher cards are previews, not usable vouchers, cash balances or promises that their future caps or conditions are identical. Each issued offer has its own displayed eligibility, participating shop, minimum spend, discount cap, exclusions and expiry. Opening a preview does not redeem an offer.
A store-specific offer cannot be used at a different shop. Platform vouchers do not stack with another voucher or merchant offer where the checkout rules prohibit it. Refunds, reversals or invalid redemptions are handled under the programme and mandatory rights; ordinary statutory cancellation or a valid complaint is not, by itself, promotional abuse. Retail spending credit, purchased coins, promotional rewards and creator earnings are different balances and are not interchangeable unless an expressly enabled flow says otherwise.
Schedule I — Mini-apps, tools and experimental features
ToolsMini-apps and tools may create drafts, calculations or generated outputs. Unless expressly stated, they are general productivity features and not legal, tax, medical, financial, property or other professional advice. Users must verify outputs before relying on or sharing them.
Beta or experimental features may change or be withdrawn and may have additional notices. You must not use them to make unlawful, discriminatory or solely automated high-impact decisions about another person.
Schedule J — Automotive, MOT, repair and vehicle services
AutomotiveThe named garage, tester or technician supplies the service and is responsible for required approvals, competent staff, insurance, parts, estimates, safe custody and lawful disposal. An MOT booking is not a guarantee that a vehicle will pass. A provider must distinguish mandatory test results from recommended repairs and obtain the customer's agreement before non-emergency extra work or material price increases.
Customers must disclose relevant defects, provide lawful access and keys, remove valuables and collect the vehicle as agreed. Providers must document vehicle condition, parts and authorisations, protect vehicle and location data, and give the customer the invoice, certification or other record required by law.
Schedule K — Health, beauty, spa and wellness
WellnessThe named practitioner or venue supplies the treatment and is responsible for professional registration where required, competence, insurance, hygiene, products, contraindication checks, informed consent, records and emergency procedures. Swipped does not diagnose, prescribe or provide medical advice and a listing is not an endorsement of clinical suitability.
Customers must provide accurate safety information directly to the practitioner and seek urgent medical help through appropriate services. Providers may collect health information only where necessary, with a valid legal condition and appropriate access controls. They must not make prohibited, misleading or guaranteed health claims.
Schedule L — Shisha, alcohol and other age-restricted offers
Age restrictedThe named venue or seller must hold every licence and permission required for its activity, apply legally compliant age verification at listing, order, entry and delivery stages as applicable, and refuse supply where verification fails. Users must not purchase for a minor or evade a restriction. Swipped may cancel and report suspected unlawful supply.
Listings must carry required health warnings and must not target children or make misleading safety claims. Tobacco, nicotine, alcohol, medicines, weapons and other controlled products may be prohibited entirely or allowed only after written compliance approval; account approval alone is not permission to list them.
Schedule M — Events, entertainment and tickets
EventsThe named organiser or venue is responsible for the event, capacity, licensing, accessibility, age limits, security, performer changes and admission rules disclosed before booking. Tickets may be personal, timed or non-transferable where clearly stated. Users must not duplicate, counterfeit or resell tickets unlawfully.
For cancellation, postponement or a material change, the organiser must provide the remedy required by law and the displayed policy. Dated leisure services may have limited statutory cooling-off rights, but this does not remove remedies where the event is not supplied as agreed.
Schedule N — Courier, luggage storage, collection and cleaning
FulfilmentThe named carrier, storage location or cleaner is responsible for custody, security, staff, insurance and lawful handling. Customers must accurately describe items, disclose fragility or special care, use adequate packaging and must not tender cash, dangerous, illegal, perishable or otherwise excluded items. Displayed limits, inspection rights and claim deadlines apply only where fair, prominent and lawful.
A custody record should identify collection and return condition, time and recipient. Loss or damage must be reported promptly with evidence. No clause excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and a provider remains responsible for using reasonable care and skill.
When making a courier or collection request, list every item, its quantity and any relevant size, weight, fragility, access or handling requirements, including custom items. An item dropdown is a description aid, not proof that an item is lawful, insured, packaged adequately or within the vehicle’s capacity. Material changes require a revised quote or provider agreement before collection. Collection, arrival, completion and return evidence must be genuine; do not give a completion code before the relevant handover is complete.
Schedule O — Memberships, subscriptions and free access
AccessAn account or business feature described as free is free for the stated scope and period; it is not a paid trial and will not silently convert into a charge. We may change or withdraw future free features on reasonable notice, but will not impose a retrospective fee. A paid recurring plan exists only where checkout clearly states the price, billing frequency, minimum term, renewal, cancellation method and when access ends.
Recurring subscriptions must offer a straightforward online cancellation route and the notices, reminders and cooling-off rights required when the relevant law applies. Cancellation stops future renewal once effective but does not erase accrued charges, usage fees, refunds, chargebacks or payouts. Fixed-term, one-off and free access must not be labelled as auto-renewing.
Buying a coin pack or a fixed-duration sponsorship is a one-off purchase unless the checkout expressly offers a recurring plan. A purchase or general acceptance of these terms does not silently enrol you in another product. Any loss of a statutory digital-content cancellation right requires the separate express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation required by law; this paragraph does not itself obtain that consent.
Schedule P — Reviews, messaging and community features
CommunityThe Community, Reviews & Online Safety Policy applies to reviews, chat, profile content, listings, replies, reports and shared media. Users must not post illegal content, threats, exploitation, hate, harassment, scams, another person's sensitive information, manipulated reviews or instructions intended to facilitate harm.
Swipped provides reporting and complaint routes, may preserve evidence, and may warn, restrict, suspend or remove content or accounts after proportionate review. Where appropriate and lawful, affected users receive reasons and an appeal route. Urgent danger must be reported to emergency services as well as Swipped.
The social, Meet, LIVE, virtual-gift, sponsorship and profile-link schedules below also apply when those features are enabled. A private profile, anonymous alias, disappearing story, block or moderation tool reduces certain exposure; none is a guarantee that another person cannot copy material or that all risk has been removed. Use the report and block controls, and contact support about access or moderation decisions.
Schedule Q — Investment and campaign information
InvestmentCampaign pages are general information, not personal investment, legal or tax advice and not a guarantee that an opportunity is lawful, suitable, available or profitable. No investment flow may go live unless the responsible issuer, approved financial promotion or applicable exemption, risk warnings, investor categorisation and payment/custody route have been verified by appropriately qualified advisers.
Investments can result in total loss, may be illiquid and may not be protected by compensation or ombudsman arrangements. The campaign's signed investment documents and mandatory disclosures take priority over a promotional summary. Users must take independent advice and must not invest unless they understand and can bear the risk.
Schedule R — Saudi Arabia and other local mandatory rules
Country termsIf Swipped actively offers a service in Saudi Arabia, the booking or checkout must identify the relevant service provider, its required contact or registration details, the main characteristics, total price, payment and delivery method, cancellation or return rights, complaint route and any warranty required by Saudi law. Mandatory Saudi consumer and e-commerce rights prevail over a conflicting term.
Saudi-facing launch requires the verified contracting entity, Arabic-facing disclosures and qualified local review of e-commerce, transport, payments, tax, content and Personal Data Protection Law obligations. Until that launch gate is approved, the presence of Saudi Arabia in a country selector does not authorise onboarding or supply of a regulated service there.
Schedule S — Social profiles, Explore, posts, stories and rankings
SocialYou are responsible for your username, biography, profile media, posts, stories, highlights, comments and other uploads. Submit only material you own or are licensed to use, with the permissions needed for identifiable people, music, brands and other protected material. Do not upload another person’s private information or evade content restrictions by placing prohibited content in an image, video, live stream or external link.
Use audience and privacy controls before publishing. Private access, story expiry or deletion from ordinary display does not guarantee that recipients have not captured or shared a copy, or erase records lawfully retained for safety, transactions or disputes. Changing an audience setting does not recall copies already received. Profiles, stories, posts and LIVE access can have different audiences; a live ring is a current availability signal, not verification of the broadcaster.
Explore, People and rankings are discovery tools, not a promise of suitability, safety, a particular audience or commercial success. Ordering may use relevance, recent activity, follows, interactions, content information, safety decisions and clearly identified promotions. Displayed activity counters and rankings are not an audit of unique people, purchases or income. Demonstration figures must be clearly identified and must not be presented as genuine user endorsements. Users must not buy or fabricate reviews, followers or engagement, operate manipulation accounts or conceal paid endorsements.
You may report content, accounts and suspected manipulation using the available controls or support. We may act under the Community, Reviews & Online Safety Policy, preserve relevant evidence and offer the applicable complaint or appeal route. We do not promise that all material is checked before it appears, or that every recommendation or report decision will be correct.
Schedule T — Meet: random text, voice and video conversations
MeetMeet connects adults for optional one-to-one text, voice or video conversations using the available preferences. A filter, country selection, online count or waiting animation is not a guarantee of a match, matching time, another person’s actual location, age, identity, gender or behaviour. Country counts refer to recent participants searching or chatting in Meet, may change quickly, and do not count every Swipped account. You may cancel a search, skip, leave, block or report.
Anonymous mode hides the profile information described in the interface from the other participant until the applicable reveal steps. It does not make you anonymous to Swipped or erase account, connection, message or safety records. Camera images, your voice, your surroundings and anything you voluntarily disclose may identify you. Do not share passwords, security codes, payment information, identity documents or precise private addresses.
Camera and microphone permissions are needed for the corresponding media functions. A local preview is visible to you before connection; after joining a voice or video conversation, enabled media is transmitted to the other participant through the call infrastructure. Text and relevant account, connection and report information may be processed and retained for operation, safety and lawful investigations as described in the Privacy Policy. Meet does not provide an absolute confidentiality or no-recording guarantee: another participant may capture media even where Swipped offers no recording control.
No sexual exploitation, nudity or sexual acts, sexual solicitation, threats, hate, coercion, scams, impersonation, harassment or contact involving minors is permitted. Do not record, publish or redistribute another participant’s private or intimate material without a lawful basis and any required consent. Leave and report inappropriate conduct; do not use Meet for emergencies, paid professional consultations or arranging prohibited transactions. Connection failures or a match do not prove that another person accepted any separate commercial arrangement.
Schedule U — LIVE broadcasts, guests and moderation
LIVELIVE is a real-time broadcast to the audience allowed by that stream’s controls. Hosts and guests must be adults, control the rights to their broadcast material and obtain permissions for other people, music, performances, locations and commercial material. Do not broadcast illegal or sexual content, child endangerment, unsafe stunts, threats, harassment, private information or activities requiring an authorisation you do not hold.
Camera and microphone controls determine which media you transmit. Turning off a camera does not turn off an enabled microphone, and a private profile does not by itself make every LIVE private. Joining a stream as a guest is subject to the host’s approval and available controls. Hosts must use guest, mute, remove, block and moderation tools responsibly; a moderator role is limited to that role’s controls and does not make the moderator an employee or authorised representative of Swipped.
Viewers can report broadcasts, participants, messages and conduct. Swipped may restrict access, remove material, end a stream, revoke guest access or preserve relevant evidence under its safety policy and applicable law. A green live ring or viewer count can lag behind actual connectivity. Availability, uninterrupted playback, latency, guest capacity and audience reach are not guaranteed.
Assume that viewers may capture a broadcast. Do not promise a prize, purchase, intimate interaction, investment return or prohibited service in exchange for a gift. Paid promotions and your own-business advertising must be identifiable as advertising where required. A virtual gift, reaction, pinned comment or subscription does not transfer rights in the broadcast or buy a personal relationship, guaranteed response or control over another user.
Schedule V — Coins, virtual gifts and creator earnings
Virtual giftsWhere enabled, coin packs are purchased through the authorised checkout shown to you, including Apple or Google in-app purchase where applicable. The displayed pack quantity, price, currency and provider terms apply. Coins are a limited licence to use eligible virtual items within Swipped, not a bank deposit, cryptocurrency, investment, transferable cash balance or right to interest. Purchased coins do not expire merely with time. Promotional or test coins may have separately disclosed restrictions and do not create cash earnings.
A gift spends the displayed number of coins only when the server confirms a valid transfer to an eligible recipient. A selected animation, a pending device transaction or a payment-provider success screen alone is not proof that a gift was delivered. Available gifts, recipients and permitted contexts are those shown in the feature. Do not use gifts for money laundering, self-dealing, gambling, coercion or payment for prohibited goods or conduct. Unavailable, rejected or unverified transfers must not be represented as completed.
Eligible creators receive 70% and Swipped retains 30% of the reconciled net proceeds allocated to their qualifying gifts, after applicable app-store/payment fees, taxes, refunds, currency conversion and other deductions included in that reconciled net amount. This is not 70% of a pack’s advertised gross price, a gift’s animation value or its coin count. Until actual proceeds are verified, a balance can be unvalued or pending. Test grants, reversed or refunded purchases do not produce withdrawable earnings; proportionate adjustments may follow refunds, fraud or chargebacks.
Withdrawal is available only for verified eligible earnings, supported countries and an approved payout route, with the minimum and any charges shown in the wallet. Pending, reserved and available earnings are different states; a transfer instruction does not guarantee receipt in a bank account. Creators are responsible for their taxes and must supply the identity and payout evidence lawfully required. A valid finally payable earning is not forfeited merely because the account is closed; the core settlement and retention rules apply.
Coin-pack and gift refunds follow the applicable purchase-provider process and mandatory consumer rights. An authorised completed gift is ordinarily not reversible just because the sender changes their mind, but this does not exclude remedies for an unauthorised, duplicate, faulty or undelivered purchase or any statutory cancellation right. Where immediate digital supply can lawfully end a cancellation right, the required express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation must be obtained in the relevant purchase flow; general acceptance of these terms alone is not that consent. Contact support about missing credit and retain the provider receipt; avoid spending disputed credit while it is being investigated.
Schedule W — Sponsorship and promoted placements
AdvertisingWhere enabled, businesses can purchase the fixed campaign period and eligible placement shown at checkout. Current fixed-duration options may include one, seven or thirty days; the purchased confirmation controls. A fixed-duration campaign is not an auto-renewing subscription unless a separate recurring product is expressly offered and accepted. App-store verification or another authorised payment confirmation is required before activation.
Sponsorship buys the described promotional opportunity, subject to eligibility, scheduling, safety and availability. It does not guarantee a particular organic ranking, exclusivity, audience size, sales, bookings, profit or a return on spend. Swipped-owned placements, paid sponsorship and ordinary recommendations can have different clearly identified treatment. A payment or pending purchase must not be described as an active campaign until the applicable activation steps complete.
Advertisers must have the rights to their creative, identify themselves and make accurate, supportable claims. Paid, gifted, affiliate and own-business promotions must be clearly identifiable as advertising in the context where they appear; a profile bio, Book now button or hidden tag alone may not provide sufficient disclosure. Do not advertise prohibited goods, unapproved services, misleading discounts or unlawful financial, health or earnings claims.
The confirmed campaign, purchase-provider rules and mandatory rights govern cancellation, refunds and remedies for a campaign not supplied as agreed. Removal for a rule breach is considered proportionately; these terms do not automatically make every payment non-refundable or exclude a remedy for Swipped’s failure to provide the purchased service. Material campaign changes require the notice or consent required by the contract and law.
Schedule X — Swipped Links and profile webpages
Profile linksWhere enabled, Swipped Links lets an account publish a profile-linked page, permitted links and optional modules. You are responsible for the page, destinations, trader identity, claims and permissions. Publish only information intended for its selected audience. A public or published link page may be accessible outside the app, indexed, shared or cached; private-profile controls and publication controls must be checked separately.
A link card, username, HTTPS address or Swipped-hosted page is not approval of a linked business, verification of ownership, a safety guarantee or a promise about third-party content. Third-party websites have their own terms, privacy practices and contracting arrangements. A link does not authorise fee avoidance or an off-platform payment demand prohibited by the core terms.
No phishing, impersonation, malware, deceptive redirects, illegal downloads, prohibited sales, undisclosed advertising or collection of another person’s credentials or sensitive details is permitted. You must keep permitted links accurate and remove or correct material you no longer have authority to publish. Swipped may disable a page or destination under its safety and complaints policy; a draft or preview is not proof that the page has been published.
Schedule Y — Provider personal and business posts with Book now
Provider postsA provider posting photos or videos must identify the post as personal or business where the composer asks. Personal posts may keep comments and optionally display a small Book now action; business posts use the booking action in place of the comment bar. A personal label does not remove advertising-disclosure duties where the post is commercial in substance.
Only currently approved, eligible services may be linked. Where one service is available it may be selected automatically; where several are available, select the correct service. A post must not imply approval for other services or that an old approval remains current. Swipped may remove or disable a booking action when eligibility changes.
Tapping Book now opens the relevant provider’s service information and booking flow. The post is not itself a confirmed booking, binding quote, guaranteed appointment or promise of immediate attendance. The customer must review the selected service, provider, scope, location, timing, price and applicable cancellation terms before committing; the local-services schedule and confirmed booking apply.
Schedule Z — AI assistance, editing and discovery tools
Assisted toolsWhere enabled, tools may suggest captions, product descriptions, categories, approximate packaged sizes, images, help topics or discovery ordering. Outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. The account publishing a listing or post must review it, confirm relevant rights and check product, allergen, safety, quantity and pricing information before publication. A suggestion or image cleanup must not invent a product characteristic or conceal a material defect.
An estimated delivery size or weight is not a measurement, insurance valuation or guarantee that a courier or vehicle can carry an item. Supply accurate details and resolve material discrepancies before dispatch. Generated support replies do not approve a refund, verify identity, alter a booking or make an account-specific decision unless the authorised workflow confirms it.
Do not upload private documents, credentials, unnecessary personal data or material you have no right to use. Processing, permissions and supplier sharing are described in the Privacy Policy and the tool’s notice. Tools are general assistance, not legal, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice; human review and the relevant complaint route remain available.
Schedule AA — Charity and fundraising information
CharityA charity or fundraising section is informational unless a specific donation flow is enabled and identifies the beneficiary, organiser, amount, fees and payment route. A country selector, listing, social post, virtual gift or coming-soon page does not verify charitable status, authorise a fundraiser or create a donation. Do not imply that a creator gift or commercial purchase is tax-deductible or qualifies for Gift Aid without the necessary legal basis and disclosures.
Organisers must have authority to fundraise, describe the cause and use of funds accurately and comply with the charitable, fundraising, advertising and payment rules that apply. No Swipped donation facility may be treated as available until its responsible organisation, required checks, disclosures and lawful payment route have been approved. Any enabled donation follows its specific pre-payment terms and mandatory rights.
Schedule AB — Virtual Land Exchange, Digital Land and Virtual World
Virtual worldsA detail page, external address, concept image or waitlist describes a proposed or separately enabled experience; it is not an offer of a functioning exchange, available plot or investment. These features may be used only where an approved destination and the applicable transaction terms are actually available. Joining a waitlist does not buy a plot, reserve an asset, set a price or guarantee launch.
A virtual plot, building, avatar or item is digital content or the limited contractual right expressly described in the applicable offer. It is not ownership of real-world land, a land-registry interest, a bank deposit, a share in Swipped or a guaranteed income-producing asset. Availability, portability, interoperability, transfer, access duration, fees and any creator rights must be stated before purchase; do not infer them from words such as own, rent or trade in a concept description.
Prices and demand can change and a resale or income opportunity is not guaranteed. Do not market virtual items as risk-free investments or promise appreciation, liquidity or profit. A feature involving cryptoassets, securities, pooled investment, lending, exchange or regulated custody must not launch unless the legally responsible entity, permissions or lawful exemption, financial-promotion route, risk information and money-handling arrangements have been verified for the relevant market. This schedule does not authorise such activity.
Any enabled digital-content purchase remains subject to the applicable checkout disclosures and mandatory cancellation, conformity and refund rights. External operators have their own contracts and privacy practices, which must be identified before you use their service. An in-app preview or Swipped link does not verify an external operator or waive the core safety and payment rules.
Schedule AC — Swipped Connect and Dating
ConnectionsWhere enabled, Connect/Dating allows adults to publish a permitted profile, discover potential connections and use the offered matching and messaging tools. It does not guarantee a match, relationship, reply, meeting, compatibility or another person’s truthfulness. A name, age statement, photo, distance, badge or match is not a criminal-background check or a guarantee of safety.
Use accurate information and media you are entitled to publish. No impersonation, harassment, stalking, coercion, sexual exploitation, solicitation of prohibited services, money scams or attempts to contact minors are permitted. Respect another person’s refusal, block or withdrawal of consent. Do not expose another person’s private communications, intimate media or live location without a lawful basis and any required permission.
Check audience, location and contact settings. Displayed proximity is approximate or dependent on the available information; anonymous or private options do not make account-linked data anonymous to Swipped. Exercise appropriate personal safety when communicating or arranging an offline meeting, and use emergency services for immediate danger. Reporting, blocking, evidence preservation and appeals follow the Community, Reviews & Online Safety Policy.
Any paid access or recurring plan exists only if clearly offered and accepted through the authorised checkout, with its price, term, renewal and cancellation conditions. A preview or free account does not silently become a paid subscription. Meet’s separate random-chat schedule applies when you use Meet rather than a dating-specific flow.
Schedule AD — Gaming Arena, competitions and game streaming
GamingWhere enabled, Gaming Arena may provide games, community features, rankings, streaming or a separately identified competition. The organiser, rules, eligibility, dates, method of determining results, entry cost if any, prize details and dispute/refund conditions must be available before commitment. A concept page, rank, point total or expression of interest is not an entitlement to a prize or evidence that a cash competition is available.
No cheating, bots, account sharing to evade eligibility, match fixing, harassment, infringement or manipulation of results is permitted. The applicable rules and fair review process govern disqualification or other restrictions. Keep required evidence of a genuine result; Swipped does not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity or that a third-party game’s systems will be error-free.
Gaming points, skill tokens, virtual items, creator earnings and purchased coins are separate concepts. Do not treat an ordinary point balance as cash, a transferable asset, a stake or a right to withdraw money unless an approved product’s specific terms expressly provide a lawful route. Do not use gifts or community tools for side bets or illegal gambling.
No real-money gambling, lottery, paid chance-based prize scheme or other regulated facility is authorised merely by these terms. A proposed draw or prize competition needs a qualified assessment of its actual structure and the relevant gambling, promotion, consumer and payment rules before launch; labelling it skill-based or free does not by itself establish an exemption. Game streaming and any related gifts or advertising also follow the LIVE, virtual-gift and sponsorship schedules.
Schedule AE — Skill Trade and skill-for-skill exchanges
SkillsWhere enabled, Skill Trade helps users propose an exchange of permitted skills or services. Before accepting an exchange, agree the parties, work, deliverables, timing, location, any token or payment amount, expenses, acceptance criteria and cancellation or dispute arrangements. A profile, match or informal chat does not guarantee performance or create an agreed scope by itself.
Each provider is responsible for competence, lawful authority, required licences, insurance, safe performance and rights in the work it supplies. A trader’s mandatory consumer obligations do not disappear because consideration is another service or a token rather than cash. The legal status of the working arrangement depends on the facts and law, not solely on a label in these terms.
A skill token has only the function, restrictions and redemption conditions expressly offered by an approved feature. It is not automatically a purchased coin, transferable currency, security, bank balance or promise of conversion into money. A marketing description or waitlist does not issue tokens or guarantee their future value or availability. Barter or token consideration may still have tax consequences for which the relevant party is responsible.
Do not offer unlawful, dangerous or unlicensed work, exploit another person, evade a restriction, fabricate completed work or misuse contact details obtained through an exchange. Keep material agreement and dispute evidence and use the applicable reporting and support routes. The local-services schedule applies where a Swipped service booking is used; these terms do not remove mandatory rights or decide a disputed payment merely from a self-reported completion mark.
Schedule AF — Invoice Generator and business-document tools
InvoicesWhere enabled, Invoice Generator helps draft or export an invoice using the details you provide. You are responsible for the issuer and recipient identity, description, dates, invoice number, price, tax status, payment instructions and any mandatory local fields. A generated document does not verify a company, VAT registration, bank account, debt or underlying supply.
The tool is not accounting, tax, legal or regulated financial advice and does not file a tax return, submit a statutory e-invoice or collect a payment unless a separately identified authorised feature expressly does so. A manual paid/unpaid label records a user’s input; it is not bank reconciliation or proof that funds have arrived. Check calculations, local requirements and the exported document before sending it or relying on it.
Use only data you have a lawful reason to process and share. Protect customer details and payment instructions, keep your own required records and do not fabricate invoices, impersonate a trader, divert payments or upload unnecessary sensitive information. A third-party document service has its own identified terms and privacy practices; an unavailable destination or preview must not be represented as a working filing or payment service.
